Meet Our Admissions Team!

Providing a personal experience for every family who considers St. Mary's Prep, we are rooted in the belief that each family deserves a unique view into our incredible school.

Mrs. Candace Castiglione
Dean of Admissions

Candace has been the Dean of Admissions for fifteen years but has been affiliated with St. Mary's Prep nearly all of her life. Candace oversees the admissions department and specializes in the high school admissions process, scholarship and financial aid process, transfer student process, communication and marketing, and is the head of the acceptance committee. Candace is a product of Catholic education, attending Our Lady of Refuge for Elementary school, and graduating from Our Lady of the Lakes High School in 2001. She and her husband, Aaron, have a 8 year old daughter, Peyton.

"As the big sister of an alumnus (brother, Dominic graduated in 2006) I have seen first hand what St. Mary's Prep can do for young men...and now for young women!  We help extraordinary families from all over the world mold men and women into respectable Christians and leaders of our community. Orchard Lake is an incredible place."

Mr. Peyton Coleman
Admissions Associate

Peyton joined St. Mary's Prep in June of 2024. Aside from working in the admissions office, he is also our head varsity wrestling coach. Peyton oversees our shadow day and parent tour programs, along with our social media and digital marketing. Before joining OLSM, Peyton taught Spanish at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic School and served as the wrestling coach at Clifford Smart Middle School, John Page Middle School, and West Bloomfield High School. A devout follower of Christ, Peyton is an advocate for Catholic education believing in the many educational and personal self-development benefits it brings to young people.

"I am blessed and grateful to be welcoming and guiding young men and women through such a prosperous place where they can grow their education and faith in Christ; helping them to become the best versions of themselves. Many of my longtime friends and colleagues attended school at OLSM, and to see all the types of successful people that they've become through their education and faith here really is a testament to the amazing culture of Orchard Lake St. Mary's."
